Attire

  • For safety purposes, it is important for gymnasts to wear proper attire. ​Gymnasts should wear form fitting clothes. Leotards are best for girls and shorts should have an elastic waistband. Buttons, buckles, and drawstrings on shorts are not permitted. Shoes and socks should be removed and left in cubbies at the front of the gym. 
  • Hair should be pulled back in a ponytail or bun. 
  • No jewelry permitted except stud earrings.

Food & Drink 

  • No gum allowed 
  • Water and snacks must be left in cubbies 

Attendance 

  • Students should be on time and be picked up promptly at the end of their class session.
  • If your child is sick, please do not have them attend class. ​

Registration 

  • Students should be enrolled in classes at the beginning of each new session, which typically last 8 weeks.
  • Students can sign up in the middle of the session, but this is subject to available spots. Tuition can be prorated for missed classes.
  • Each session you must sign up your child for the appropriate class.

Cancellations & Inclement Weather

  • For weather related closings, please check Facebook or our website for updates. Generally, we follow the Hanover County Public School system. 
  • In the case of multiple weather closings, we will allow for one make up class per session. 

Make-up Classes

  • In order to maintain an appropriate class size, absences may be made up on an alternate class day ONLY when absolutely necessary. Please make every effort to adhere to your original day. 
  • Please speak to a coach for prior approval and to reserve a make-up classes. 
  • If your child is signed up for the next session, one class can be carried over to the next session. 

Payment Policies 

  • Recreation classes tuition is billed prior to the start of the session along with any additional fees. 
  • A credit or debit card is required upon class registration, but tuition may be paid via cash or check prior to the session start date. 
  • Family discounts
    • Annual registration fee of $20 for the first child and $10 for each additional child
    • 10% off second child to sign up 
    • 20% off third child to sign up 
    • 15% off for second class taken by same child during the same session 

Class Move-ups

  • Each session coaches will determine move ups.
  • Age, ability, and behavior will be taken into consideration when deciding move ups. 

Observation Rules

  • No parents on the floor unless for a class.
  • No flash photography.
