All American Team Tryouts: Interested in competing? Any gymnast from AAG or any other gym is eligible to tryout for our team or pre team. We will take 1 hour to evaluate your gymnast on all events. We will look at what level/placement will best suit your gymnast for the upcoming 2023-2024 season. An information meeting will be held on Friday June 9th for any gymnast who is offered a spot in our program. There is a $25 evaluation/tryout fee. Please take the time to review our current contract for a reference. Our new 2023-2024 contracts will be out very soon. What is XCEL? XCEL PROGRAM is an alternative USA Gymnastics competitive program offering individual flexibility to coaches and gymnasts. The goal of XCEL is to provide gymnasts of varying abilities and commitment levels the opportunity for a rewarding gymnastics experience. XCEL Divisions: -There are six divisions of XCEL: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Sapphire. For gymnasts entering from the Jr. Olympic Program a skills evaluation can help determine what the best division for your child is. -Gymnasts who have no previous competitive experience may enter at Bronze, Silver or Gold, at their coach’s discretion. -With XCEL you have more freedom to cater to your individual skill set and it is more affordable.
